Endorsements from elite strength coaches, athletic trainers, and parents
Mike Kadar

Throughout my career with the LA Kings, Pittsburgh Penguins, and Detroit Red Wings, I have continued to rely heavily on our professional conversations regarding strength training parameters, athlete-specific injury progressions, and up-and-coming research. Joe’s perspective on sports performance and rehabilitation is thought provoking and elite. I certainly consider him the best in New England.

I’ve known Joe Cal professionally, and been friends with him for a number of years. In fact, I even have one of his quotes written on a window in my gym in Beverly Hills, which is neither here nor there, but should tell you that he has my buy in.
Joe is a cutting edge strength coach. Period. He also has extensive experience training against sports related injuries, specifically ACL injuries, and that is why he stays far ahead of the strength and conditioning curve. I wouldn’t ever wish injury on anyone, but if anyone were injured, I would wish Joe Cal on them.
Scott Caufield

As Coaching Education Manager and Head Strength & Conditioning Coach at NSCA headquarters, I work with hundreds of exceptional strength coaches every year. I have known Joe for over 2 decades and I have trusted and respected his unique approach to performance enhancement, speed development, and injury prevention. With his experiences in both the NFL and NHL, it would be tough to find a strength coach in New England who exceeds the results he gets with his athletes.

When Joe was hired in LA, it was his New England Patriot pedigree and strong work-ethic that most appealed to us. Far before Joe opened Stadium Performance, he was pushing future Hall of Fame athletes to the next level. He has always been progressive with his injury prevention training and that is clearly what separates him from the rest.

Currently we utilize SP, as a family, anywhere from 2-4 times a week, as our 4 children train with Joe and his staff. Joe has a tremendous sense of confidence and composure-and this is uniquely combined with his analytical abilities and intelligence, an incredible capacity for demanding work, a terrific sense of humor, and an ability to connect with many different athletes and parents. He is one of our greatest assets.

SP is more than just a gym, it is a family. A family that does more than lift while at SP, it’s a family that ensures the athletes achieve their best on and off the field. Our son Jonnie spent the summer at SP recovering from labrum surgery in February. Joe Cal and the staff did an amazing job getting him ready for football season. They coached him on all aspects…strength, conditioning, nutrition and recovery. Jonnie was never so well prepared as he was this season. I wholeheartedly believe Joe Cal treats them like they are his kids. I know he has his best interest at heart and Jonnie has so much respect for Joe and the SP Life, it has truly changed him!
The Casey’s

We are so grateful to Joe and the Stadium Performance staff for the kindness and support they have offered our son, and my family. My son Rory, was diagnosed with left ventricular hypertrophy that left him unable to pass his pre-participation physical and likely unable to play hockey ever again. Without hesitation, Joe encouraged Rory to find a specialist that would do the surgery and vowed to help him return to play thereafter. Six months later, my son is a Mayo Clinic success story and Babson Hockey has an incoming freshman in the best shape of his life. We can’t say enough good things.
The Schiller’s

My younger daughter is a championship Irish step dancer who has been mentored by Joe. In his professional role as Director of Sports Performance & Medicine, Joe has had a profound impact on her life. When she was preparing for the World Championships last year, Joe offered to provide extra training at his business to build her confidence and strength. The results were staggering, and she placed 18th in the World in her solo competition. My daughter continues to train with Joe, as the environment is truly positive, healthy and life giving for a young college athlete. We are grateful to Joe for his vision, love of others and willingness to go above and beyond to help young people reach their goals.

- 5 WAYS TO INVEST IN YOUR FUTURE March 19, 2019Parents, coaches, and athletes all share a common goal; the goal of helping you standout, gain attention, and solidify a spot on a collegiate roster.
